Job SummaryResponsible for leading and supporting initiatives to promote a culture of safety and high reliability within Hendrick Health. The Patient Safety Specialist will work closely with leadership, clinical teams, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, implement evidence-based practices, and sustain improvements in patient safety and quality of care. The Patient Safety Specialist will manage the day to day operations of the Patient Safety Program. Promotes a strong patient safety culture. Provides education to improve patient safety culture and high reliability across the organization. Oversees the organizations compliance with CMS, Joint Commission standards, and LeapFrog standards related to Patient Safety.Job RequirementsMinimum Education
- Bachelor's degree in related field

- Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) - Within 2 years
