**Patient Service Representative/Greeter**

**POSITION SUMMARY**
The Patient Service Representative (PSR)/Greeter works as part of a team with other PSRs and Practice Administrators to ensure smooth patient flow within the practice on a day-to-day basis. Serves as the Face of the Agency by greeting patients as they arrive at the Health Centers main location at 238 Arsenal Street. Greets persons entering the Health Center, determines nature and purpose of visit, conducts COVID-19 screening questions and temperature check, and directs or escorts patients to specific destinations. Provides information about the Health Center, such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided.
Position may also function as PSR, as necessary based on operational needs, such as making appointments, checking patients in and out, collecting co-payments, sliding fees, and outstanding balances, assisting patients with insurance and payment responsibilities, answering phones, conducting reminder calls, and directing inquiries as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**

* Shall possess typing skills. Is skilled with computers and computer applications.
* Gives attention to detail and possesses problem resolution skills. Has a positive attitude and high energy, is a quick learner, is adaptable to change.
