Job Summary: The Patient ServiceRepresentative is primarily responsible for ensuring high quality customerservice and continuation of care. The Patient Service Representative isutilized in performing typical front office functions and referrals. The PatientService Representative is under the overall on-site supervision of theSupervisor.Environmental Hazards: Possible exposure to hazardous material, hot and cold, blood borne pathogens. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry 8-10 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations. Preferred:- Experience working with computers and software, performing data entry,answering the telephone, and scheduling appointments- Ability to take telephone messages and have an understanding of medicalterminology- Experience with Electronic Medical Records; EPIC highly desirable- Prior experience workingwith HIV/AIDS care a plus
