Position SummaryThe Practice Patient Service Representative proactively ensures an exceptional experience for patients when greeting, checking in, and checking out during their appointment. This role involves answering incoming phone calls, responding to general patient requests, taking telephone messages, and scheduling patient appointments.Position RequirementsEducation and Previous Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.Hardware/Software Experience:Practice management/medical billing computer programs.Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel).Other Characteristics:Excellent oral/written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills.Detail-oriented.Ability to set priorities, document conversations and specific actions taken, and develop applicable policies and procedures (e.g., regarding collections).Flexible; able to adapt to change.Bilingual (Spanish) capabilities a plus.Rush is an equal opportunity employer.
