Position SummaryPractice patient service representative proactively ensures an exceptional experience for patients when greeting, checking in, and checking out during their appointment; answers incoming phone calls, responds to general patient requests, takes telephone messages and schedules patient appointments.Position Requirements* Education and Previous Experience* High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.* Hardware/Software Experience* Practice management/medical billing computer programs.* Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel)* Other Characteristics* Excellent oral/written communication skills* Excellent organizational skills* Detailed oriented* Ability to set priorities, document conversations and specific actions taken and develop applicable policies and procedures (e.g., regarding collections)* Flexible; able to adapt to change* Bilingual (Spanish) capabilities a plus40 Hours per Week: Shifts will be during the following times: 7:45am-5:30pm (4 days a week), 10:00am-7:15pm (1 day a week), 1 Saturday per month 7:45am-12:15pmThis position may support RUSH Pediatrics Aurora, RUSH Pediatrics Aurora Ridge, & RUSH Pediatrics & Family Medicine - Oswego.
