Job Level: Entry Level (less than 2 years)Southern Jersey Family Medical Centers, Inc. is looking for a talented Patient Service Specialist to step into our culturally diverse and fast-paced facility!Summary: The Patient Service Specialist performs a wide variety of medical front office duties whileproviding excellent customer service to patients and staff.Hours: This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work a flexible schedule. General daytime hours Monday - Friday and at least one late night per week.Position Responsibilities/Duties:Patient check-in and check-out: greet visitors and take deliveriesPatient registration - complete appropriate forms and enter patient information into the system completely and accuratelyAnswer high-volume calls in a timely manner and direct to appropriate staffCopy and scan patient informationReview and update FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) documentsUpdate Medicaid referral formsMedical records - collect and secure all medical records dailyMedical billing - ensure all billing codes are entered correctly and accuratelyPromote patient satisfaction and provide excellent customer serviceEnsure all opening and closing procedures are completedExperience and Skills:Position Requirements:At least 1 year of related work experience; 2 to 4 years preferredFamiliarity with medical terminologyStrong computer skills: experience with Navinet, NJMMIS, and EHS preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent: Certificate or diploma from a medical training course preferredSouthern Jersey Family Medical Centers is an Equal Opportunity Employer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
