Description Position at Northern Dutchess Hospital Job Summary: Performs all duties necessary to successfully process patients and their orders though Outreach Laboratories collection facilities. Duties include: Patient reception, patient registration, specimen collection, specimen accessioning, specimen processing and quality assurance activities. Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:Required Education: High School diploma or equivalentCompletion of certified phlebotomy or medical assistants programsRequired License: NoneRequired Experience: Minimum one-year previous experience in a hospital lab, clinic, or physician lab experience.Medical billing and specimen processing knowledge helpful.Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm and 11:00pm-7:00am. Rotating weekends and holidays. Other shifts as needed.Rate: $17.07- $32.47 hourly
