Azalea Orthopedics is looking for a Patient Services Representative to check-in and check-out patients at our Tyler office. The right candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to multitask in a busy environment, and enjoy learning new things. No experience required but preferred. Main duties include:
* Greeting patient and gathering all demographic information
* Asking patient to complete any necessary paperwork
* Scanning ID and insurance cards, entering insurance information into account
* Checking patients in accurately and in a timely manner
* Collecting co-payments or previous balances and setting patients up with a financial counselor when necessary
* Communicating with patients with the utmost patience and empathy
* Preparing paperwork and reviewing schedules in preparation for the next day
* Communicating issues and questions to management when appropriate
* Maintaining patient confidentiality
* Learning and keeping current on insurance company requirements, co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance
