We're looking for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all our patients. The typical hours for this role are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. No Holidays! No Weekends! The Clinic: BayCare Clinic is a successful, dynamic group comprised of 20+ specialties. We are a physician-owned entity with joint ownership in Aurora BayCare Medical Center, a 167-bed hospital located in Green Bay, WI, offering us a built-in referral base. Each of our specialty practices have clinical autonomy and are financially sound. The Practice:Oral Surgery & Implant Specialists BayCare Clinic is a high-volume growing practice with two main locations in Green Bay and Manitowoc with an additional outreach clinic in Sturgeon Bay.   • Greets and checks in patients.
  • Assists patients in filling out patient forms.
  • Answers phones, takes messages, routes calls when necessary.
  • Develops patient charts.
  • Enters pertinent information into patient charts.
  • Schedules patient appointments.
  • Collects co-payments from patients.
  • Performs general office duties.
  • Respects and maintains confidentiality.
  • Works in a safe, compliant and ethical manner at all times.
The Requirements:
  • A minimum of a high school education or equivalent.
  • Post high school coursework in Medical Terminology and/or Office Assistant is appropriate.
  • Must have a working knowledge of medical terms and health insurance.
  • Must possess strong desktop computer skills.
  • Experience with electronic charting is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a medical setting is preferred.
