Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, this position will provide one-to-one observation for those patients who have been determined to be at risk for potential injury to themselves or others.Ability to read write and communicate in English.One (1) year of experience in the human service field is preferred; internships/field placement experience is acceptable. Ability to develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and family members/significant others; demonstrates verbal and written communication skills and the ability to express ideas in a clear, concise, and, legible form; ability to interface with all disciplines; ability to organize and prioritize multifaceted workload; exercises tact, diplomacy and good judgment at all times.Current BLS within a probationary period (90 days); and Patient Monitoring Course must be completed upon hire.
