POSITION DESCRIPTION

As a Patient Support Specialist at Rhythm, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive the best care and support. You will be responsible for patient outreach and support activities, including managing connectivity issues, handling no-shows, setting up new monitors, upload reports into the clients EMR, and other outreach tasks. Your role will also involve maintaining patient schedules and working with various electronic health records (EHR) and workflow systems. Additionally, you will respond to inbound inquiries related device schedule adjustments, monitor connectivity questions, no shows, and other support needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct patient outreach via phone and email.
  • Upload reports and perform tasks within client EHR systems as requested.
  • Address connectivity issues, no-shows, and no-monitor patients effectively.
  • Adjust transmission schedules and manage other high-velocity tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with appointment scheduling and other administrative processes.
  • Set up new monitors for patients and provide necessary guidance.
  • Create and maintain patient schedules as needed.
  • Work within clients' EHR and other workflow systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Respond to inbound inquiries regarding insurance changes, billing issues, device schedule adjustments, and other patient needs, ensuring a high SLA for our patients and clients.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient interactions and support activities within Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient support.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with best practices and new technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare support role, ideally within remote patient monitoring or a similar setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in using EHR systems and other healthcare workflow tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Empathy and dedication to providing exceptional patient care.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Compensation: This is an hourly role with a pay range of $18-22 per hour, dependent upon location and experience, with performance-based bonuses available monthly on top of the base
  • Employment: This is a full-time position with benefits.
  • Office Locations: You will report to either the Brooklyn, New York, or Rockville, Maryland office.
  • Schedule: You will be required to report to the office 2 days per week and work remotely for 3 days per week. You will operate within our business hours (9 AM - 5 PM ET or 10 AM - 6 PM ET, Monday through Friday).
