A Patient Support Technician/Certified Nursing Assistants assists in total client care and guides therapeutic approaches.The PST is an active team member and participates in appropriate treatment modalities.Will provide for the physical and psychological environment on the Inpatient Unit, according to the goals and philosophy of the Unit program. Shifts will run 12 hours. Rotating weekends and holidays are required. PRN wanted! Housekeeping duties:
- Stripping and disinfecting patient rooms
- Sort and organize laundry
- Turning over patient bedding
Essential Kitchen Duties:
- Prepare patient meals while following weekly menu
- Disinfecting surfaces and kitchen utensils
Charting/paperwork:
- Complete admission and discharge paperwork with patients
- Audit charts to ensure papers are filed correctly
- Complete daily charting on each patient
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: CNA or Behavioral Health Experience strongly preferred.
- Satisfactory results from criminal background check.
