The SouthPark location is seeking a qualified professional to join the team as an Patient Transport - Rooming Assistant. As a Patient Transport -Rooming Assistant you will be responsible for assisting in Radiology and the Clinical Services departments performing job functions including but not limited to entering patient demographic information into EPIC/PACs systems, escorting patients from waiting area, to and from exam rooms and Radiology, and ensuring proper dress code is followed for imaging needs. May assist with holding and positioning patients for imaging as requested by Radiology Technologists. Clean and maintain exam room supplies throughout the shift to maintain patient flow. Other duties may include:

  • Transport patients from the waiting area to exam room and back and forth to Radiology.
  • Ensure proper dress code is followed for imaging.
  • Assists technologist with retrieving patient information.
  • Assists with patient preparation.
  • Assists with cleaning exam and Radiology room and work area.
  • Assists in utilizing PACS as requested.
  • Willingness to help at other sites if needed for staffing.
  • Cross trains in other job functions to improve workflow.
  • Assists Radiology and Clinical staff with daily activities as requested within the scope of role.
  • Performs such other duties, responsibilities and functions as may be required from time to time.
