This job was posted by : For more information, please see: a patient transport driver, you will be responsible for ensuring compassionate, safe and efficient transfer between facilities for adult behavioral health patients. You will be part of the Illinois Patient Transfer, or IPT, team supporting hospitals, patients and families across the state.This role is based in Peoria and will serve on a mid-day rotation, 5 days per week, on-call 2:00pm - 4:00pm and on shift 4:00pm - midnight. Shifts include alternating weekends. It is common for technicians in this role, to work well past their scheduled shift end time.Job Duties:Supervise patients during transportationProvide proper de-escalation and aggression prevention techniques as requiredAssist facility staff with escorting both the patient and belongings to and from the vehicleMaintain current State of Illinois drivers licenseMaintain a professional appearance and attitude at all timesPresent and promote a positive company image
