Assist with patients checking in on the Kiosk and provide directions to patients and visitors at the point of entry of the hospital.
  • Greet customers, listen, be courteous, and escort patients to requested destinations throughout the hospital and clinics.
  • Provide a comfortable atmosphere for waiting customers and updated waiting customers periodically
  • Provide a warm handoff of patient/visitor with receptionist or access rep at the location which they are visiting throughout Amberwell
  • Transports stable patients to the clinics and to and from diagnostic testing areas (such as CT, X-ray, and Lab).
  • Transporters are to assist the patient with his/her restroom needs as necessary.
  • Able to safely transfer patients using a transfer device such as a wheelchair or other hospital-approved devices.
  • Cleans transport equipment between each patient use.
  • Locates and redistributes equipment to perform transport.
  • Provides directions to families and or visitors
  • Helps to identify problems, offers solutions, and participates in their resolutions.
  • Assist patients with check-in at the KIOSK
  • Requires a focus on customer services, customer satisfaction, and excellent communication skills.
