Job Summary and QualificationsThe transport supervisor is responsible for day-to-day operations of the patient Transporters throughout the hospital. This is a non-clinical, non-certified associate Responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner to all patients during their stay. The main duties and responsibilities will be to lead a team of transporters and dispatchers as well as supervise the transportation of patients within the hospital environment by wheelchair, stretcher or bed. The Supervisor will transport patients when needed in order to keep up with the daily demand and will monitor work and leave time of current transport staff. Additional duties include preparing various reports to include daily productivity and patient transport response times, maintaining equipment and ensuring transports are carried out timely an comply with the company and hospital policies.
