Description:JOB PURPOSE:Ensuring that patients are transferred throughout the hospital campus in a safe and timely manner that maximizes patient flow.Qualifications:MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Entry Level.MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:HeartSaver CPR AED or BLS training required.ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:None.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Performs patient transfers using proper techniques.2. Ensures patient safety during ambulation and transport.3. Acquires and maintains transportation equipment and supplies.
