Job Title: Patrol OfficerReason for Announcement: Fill Full-Time VacancySalary & Benefits: $29.24-$30.85 per hour base wage; per the2022-2024 Working Agreement. Wisconsin retirement contribution;health, disability and life insurance; holiday and longevity pay;personal leave; clothing allowance; deferred compensation;educational incentive; and night shift differential pay.Hours: 2,190 annual hours / 12 hour shifts. This entry level positionmay be scheduled in a manner that is most advantageous to theCity and not necessarily on a 2/2, 3/2, 2/3 work schedule. The leastsenior patrol officer, unless a more senior officer selects to work aflexible schedule, shall be scheduled one month in advance aswith all other officers and such schedule shall include at least oneweekend off every month. Applicant must have the ability to worknights, weekends, and holidays.Qualifications: Minimum age-18; high school diploma or GEDequivalent supplemented by 60 college credits or an associateor technical degree with additional training in police science, lawenforcement, criminal justice administration, public administration,or a related field. No felony or domestic abuse related convictionsor other disqualifying criminal history; valid WI driver's license in anystate; ability to possess a firearm; US citizen. WI Law EnforcementStandards Board certification is preferred, but not required.
