We are looking for friendly and dedicated employees who are committed to providing excellent service. As a member of our team, you will be involved in everything related to concerts and ticket sales while fully immersing yourself in the unique environment that only a summer camp can offer. You'll work behind the scenes for all Interlochen Arts Festival and Arts Camp performances! Whether it's classical music by Joshua Bell, country hits by Darius Rucker, or pop/rock stars like Brandi Carlile, Weird Al Yankovic, Jason Mraz, 311, and The Beach Boys, you'll play a part in making it all happen.What You Get To DoAssist with front-line operational excellence, including customer-facing interactions and front-of-house managementAssist with all facets of the daily box office operations, processing patron ticket orders over the phone and at the walk-up window using our online ticketing softwareExhibit excellent conflict management skills, while working within the framework of company policiesDeliver a world-class, safe and memorable experience for all guestsMaintain crowd control and entry safety checkpoints, especially during high-occupancy timesAssist in the oversight of concert operations: coordinate volunteer ushers, address concert patrons' needs, set-up venues, distribute concert programs, provide security for visiting artists and patronsAssist with presenting multiple indoor and outdoor venues at Interlochen Center for the Arts; taking part in the venue set up to include deployment of equipment up to 50lbsOther duties as assignedWhat You GetCompensation: $2,172Meals, lodging (wifi not included)10% tuition discount for Discovery Camp or 50% Interlochen Arts Camp for dependents20% discount for tickets to most summer concerts.15% discount on merchandise from Scholarshop and food/beverages from Melody Freeze
