Work directly for a Somerset County NJ area Construction Firm.Paving Estimator/Project ManagerWe are looking for a skilled Paving Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. In this dual role, you will estimate costs for paving projects and oversee their execution to ensure successful, on-time, and on-budget project delivery. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in both estimating and managing paving projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client expectations.Key Responsibilities:Estimating:- Review project plans and specifications to develop time, cost, material, and labor estimates.- Perform detailed quantity take-offs for paving materials and labor.- Obtain and analyze pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.- Submit accurate bid proposals, ensuring competitive pricing and detailed cost breakdowns.- Collaborate with the project management team to strategize competitive bids and identify cost-saving opportunities.Project Management:- Lead paving projects from start to finish, ensuring all aspects of the project are completed on time and within budget.- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, address issues, and ensure safety and compliance standards are met.- Maintain up-to-date project documentation and provide regular reports to stakeholders.- Manage project budgets and timelines, adjusting plans as needed to meet objectives and client expectations.Job RequirementsQualifications:- Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).- Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in paving estimating and project management.- Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., B2W, or similar).- Strong understanding of paving materials, processes, and standards.- Demonstrated experience in managing construction projects from inception to completion.- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.- OSHA 30 certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain it.Jackson TuapanteSynerfac Technical Staffingp: 732-###-####e: ...@synerfac.com
