Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and managing on-site construction workers and equipment for asphalt paving operations, enforcing the company's direction, policies, procedures, and safety standards, while meeting construction deadlines and maintaining quality standards.

Job Duties:

* Lead and direct people, equipment, material, and resources in the construction of driveways, parking lots

* Organize and coordinate daily activities of all crew members, subcontractors, equipment, and trucking in an efficient and effective order and utilize corrective action to keep the project on time and within

* Coordinate and collaborate with Project Manager, other Foremen, Project Managers, General Contractors, and the customer to implement successful project plans

* Identify and execute best practices concerning the efficient use of construction

* Read and interpret project plans and specifications of the project assigned, including man-hour and material

* Review and adhere to construction schedules, ensuring milestones and completion dates are

* Clean, measure and layout asphalt

* Operate heavy equipment and other construction duties as

* Willing to complete manual labor.

* Track and record quantities on a day-to-day basis and complete crew

* Collect all trucking tickets, material tickets, equipment rental receipts related to projects and turn into Project Manager in an organized

* Conduct work with 100% integrity and professionalism

Skills and Requirements:

* High school diploma & minimum of 5 Years experience as a Foreman in the asphalt paving industry

* Experience with heavy equipment such as excavators, pavers &

* Knowledge of grading and excavation

* Knowledge of asphalt paving procedures, techniques, and specifications.

* Ability to conduct effective paving inspections for compliance

* Ability to calculate figures and mathematical

* Understanding of DOT and site

* Excellent supervisory, leadership skills and a hands-on motivated l

* Outstanding communication & interpersonal

* Ability to manage time and priorities effectively

* Ability to receive/give written or oral

* Establish and maintain effective working relationship with office and field

* Must be committed to contributing to a culture of safety, looking out for yourself and

* OSHA 10

* Flagging Certificate (Recommended)
