About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Paylocity Payroll Administrator with strong experience in payroll processing and HRIS systems to join our team on a part-time basis. This role will require expertise in payroll administration, with the opportunity to grow and expand into other HRIS platforms as the scope of the role evolves. The ideal candidate will be an experienced payroll consultant, have excellent organizational skills, and thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll for employees accurately and on time using Paylocity.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.
  • Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving payroll discrepancies.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity within Paylocity.
  • Assist with payroll system upgrades and improvements as needed.
  • Occasionally commute to Vancouver, WA, to collaborate with the team and attend meetings.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of payroll experience, with consulting experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Paylocity payroll systems. Experience with other HRIS platforms is a plus.
  • Certification: APA (American Payroll Association) certification is highly desirable.
  • Location Requirement: Residing in or willing to commute to Vancouver, WA, as needed.
  • Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, analytical, and excellent communication skills.
Schedule:
  • Part-Time Contract: 20 hours/week for the first 6 months. Potential to scale based on evolving business needs.
