A Day in the Life:

The role of the Collection Adjustment Clerk is to act as support personnel to the Account Receivable Specialists in processing adjustments and credit card payments, performing specialized billing on accounts, and reviewing customer inquiries for action. The position requires a base knowledge of collection techniques and the ability to respond to a variety of customers, from large scale companies to individual renters.

This position requires an individual who possess strong follow up and time management skills, along with the capability to express processing steps and customer needs to internal and external customers.

The starting rate for this position is $15.75 per hour.

Were gearing up for our move to Oklahomas mission critical business and technology campus 7725 Connect, located at 7725 W Reno Ave, OKC, OK 73127. Depending on start date, there may be an instance of where the new hire will temporarily work at the existing location of 5601 NW Expressway until the move occurs. What Youll Do:

  • Process adjustments and manual invoices to ensure an efficient turn around for account.
  • Process credit card payments to ensure processing meets audit and PCI standards.
  • Process bad debt write-offs on unresponsive customers.
  • Assist in the reconciliation of payments to the billings.
  • Perform special billing or processing functions on valued accounts.
  • Assist in collection work, by verifying required actions with accounts.
  • Serve as a back-up to other Adjustment Clerks.
  • Assist Supervisor in special projects.

What Were Looking For:

  • 2+ years collections and customer experience
  • Some college preferred
  • Knowledge of DASH, GAR systems and PC Excalibur
  • Collection Techniques
  • Basic Business Accounting
  • Risk Management
  • Time Management & Organization
  • Excellent communication
  • Telephone Etiquette
  • Microsoft Office
  • Able to manage multiple assignments.
