This position is temp-to-hire for the right person after 90 days! Location: Valley Cottage, NY (on-site)Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5:30 PMPay Rate: $18 / hr.As a Payment Operations Specialist, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Preparing batches of work by extracting checks and remittances from envelopes.Operating Imaging/Extraction equipment (OPEX 50/51/60, OPEX 7200, OPEX 150).Inputting data into the system while following standard operating procedures and customer specific instructions for processing.Verifying negotiability of checks through customer specific instructions for processing.Analyze all transactions to ensure payments are properly processed.Maintaining site productivity and quality standards.Occasionally lifting and moving mail trays.Flexibility and willingness to cross-train and learn all job functions in operations.Qualifications:1+ year experience in an office environment.Reliable Transportation & Good Attendance.Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.Apply today for immediate consideration for the Payment Operations Specialist position in Valley Cottage, NY!
