Job Description:
We are looking for a Payment Posting Clerk for busy season. This position will be responsible for performing the duties of posting incoming bank wires, ACH, and check payments to reservations, general ledger accounts, and credit card invoices. The role will require work in conjunction with additional teams within the company. Must have the ability to communicate with contacts from several banking institutions and other outside vendors. Will also be required to perform daily bank reconciliations and duties related to month-end closing. Requires excellent organizational and computer skills. Functions:
  • Post and research bank wires and ACH payments received daily on the Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, ANZ bank reports.
  • Research and post incoming check payments to booking reservations.
  • Responsible for the Daily Cash Balancing Reconciliation process for USD and multi-currency.
  • Select invoices for incoming bank wires/ACH payments for credit card settlements. Apply chargeback exceptions to the correct booking or invoice number.
  • Reconciling and preparing several general ledger accounts in Blackline every month.
  • Scanning checks through Cash-Pro Online via Bank of America. Confirm that each Cash Pro batch matches the booking reservation batch in Qterm/Mapper or Oracle.
  • Download and distribute Previous/Current Day Detail bank reports from Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, and ANZ Bank to several departments within the company.
  • Post and research incoming funds received via Western Union Quick Collect, Money Gram, Bank Wire, and ACH payments to booking reservations.
  • Managing the monthly Oracle journal entries and open items.
Education, Experience & Knowledge:
  • Associate degree, preferably working towards a Bachelors.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounts receivable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and display a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
About: This is a temporary position located in Miami/ Doral.
