Overview:
Provide accurate reporting to internal stakeholders and recommend to the Payments Manager a plan of action or changes across all existing or potential payment partnerships. This position will work with various external and internal teams for execution of multi-channel marketing plans. The Payment Specialist will provide insight of market trends and provide support to the Payments Manager to create and deliver a business plan for new product development and execution.
Responsibilities:
Analyze primary and secondary research to understand customer needs to create recommendations to the Payment Manger Work with the Payment Manager to develop positioning strategies and value propositions for the assigned customer segments and execute initiatives to drive acquisition, engagement & retention. Assess competitive environment and market dynamics to identify and communicate trends Recommend revisions and enhancements to products to stimulate sales and meet objectives Partner with Brand to develop collateral material, advertising, and promotional programs; and ensure that they align with the products segments brand strategy and value proposition Collaborate with other functional groups to deliver training and support to ensure products are sold effectively Monitor payment portfolio performance and proactively identify areas of opportunity. Engage in continuous education as it relates to the Payment Industry. This includes formal class training, webinars, conferences and networking opportunities, as well as keeping abreast of trends in the payment industry and regulations. Provide support to the Payments Regional Sales Managers to acquire additional fleets and fuel gallons. Maintain various payment administrative duties. Qualifications:

Education
- Bachelors Degree in business related field required
Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience managing payment acceptance portfolio (ATM, Credit Card, Fleet Cards, etc.) in a corporate business environment required.
- Financial services issuance, acquiring, or payment network experience preferred.
