Who we are looking for.

Vice President Migration lead as part of the multi-year Payments, Cash, and Custody (“PCC”) strategic development program to modernize and simplify State Street's core custody technology platforms.

This role will work closely with Product, IT, and various internal and external stakeholders in a varied and challenging role.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with demonstrated leadership capabilities. Background in Cash, Custody, strategic planning, or previous migration experience is a plus.

Over the next 3-5 years, State Street will deploy a next generation platform infrastructure that will be the foundation of our custody operating model and help drive our goals to improve service delivery, quality, resiliency, and productivity optimization. The Transact project team will enable the modernization of Payments, Cash, and Custody services by replacing IBS/Hogan DDA infrastructure with Temenos Transact platform.

What you will be responsible for

  • Develop migration strategy approach and get buy-in from all stakeholders including senior management.
  • Develop framework to execute and control end-to-end migration across all teams (IT, Product, GD, Business) for each migration tranche.
  • Deliver strong communications plan and utilize influencing skills to garner support and alignment through all stages of the migration lifecycle.
  • Organize and support conversion events (dry run, dress rehearsal, go live) ensuring a smooth transition to BAU working across the different business units.
  • Proactively mitigate risks, provide solutions, and lead issue resolution.
  • Lead all conversion events which includes some weekend activity and off hours.
  • Collaborate with other teams to share approaches, develop best practices, and improve team capabilities.

    Education & Preferred Qualifications

    • 5-7+ years operational or project experience preferred
    • Knowledge of Cash/Payment/Banking Platforms is preferred but not required.
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

    Salary Range:

    $100,000 - $160,000 Annual

    The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
