Position Summary
The Human Resources Department at the University at Buffalo is seeking a Payroll Administrative Specialist. The successful candidate will be employed directly by The Research Foundation for SUNY.
As a Payroll Administrative Specialist, you will:
* Collaborate with a team to both provide guidance to departments and employees.
* Using various systems, respond timely and appropriately to assorted requests for information or assistance to include employment verifications, appointment information, transaction processing, etc.
* Review/process/audit complex Research Foundation Payroll transactions.
* Be responsible for various other related duties and administrative project work as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
* Some college level coursework and three (3) years progressive clerical experience.
* Strong literacy, numeracy and computer skills
* Ability to work reliably with minimal supervision, once trained.
* Exceptional customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
One or more years of payroll administrative experience
Physical Demands Salary Range $50,000 - $55,000 Additional Salary Information The salary range reflects our good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting, the role and associated responsibilities, and the experience, education, and training of the selected candidate.
