Sole payroll administrator within the HR team supporting a population of 400+ staff at a healthcare facility in Suffolk County, LI
Onsite Monday-Friday, 8am/9am - 4pm/5pm
Base $60-70k
Job Duties:
- Records, verifies and reconciles time cards and other payroll data
- Ensures that payroll information is accurately entered into ADP WorkforceNow
- Reviews data entry calculations, benefits entitlement and shift differentials
- Responds to departmental inquiries and issues related to payroll information.
- Communicates payroll policies and procedures to department managers and other staff members as needed.
- Cultivates and maintains an effective working relationship with departments.
- Verifies calculation of automated timekeeping system for non-exempt employees.
- Ensures all employee changes for assigned employee groups are accurate.
- Manages new hires, transfers, terminations, pay or unpaid leaves of absence and related actions.
- Regularly audit attendance and paid time off records.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of payroll experience
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now
- Strong organizational skills/Detail-oriented
