Job OverviewSummary/Objective The Payroll Administrator perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the accurate and efficient processing of payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees. Essential Functions
- Compiles payroll data such as hours worked; sales volume, bonuses, and commissions; monies to be withheld for taxes; employee contributions to insurance and retirement plans; from time sheets and other records
- Computes wages and deductions, reviews for accuracy, and posts to payroll records
- Updates master payroll records by verifying and recording changes affecting net wages including but not limited to federal and state tax exemptions, insurance coverage, required and voluntary deductions, compensation increases, promotions, and/or transfer of employees between departments
- Prepares and issues paychecks in paper and digital formats
- Keeps records of leave pay and nontaxable wages
- Prepares periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions. This includes weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually or on request
- Prepares and files all hiring and termination paperwork in coordination with the human resources department
- Maintains records for leave eligibility including but not limited to vacations, holidays, PT) sick leave and any required state or federal required leave eligibility.
- Processes employee insurance forms and payments in coordination with human resources department
- Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures for payroll process
- Understands the rules and regulations associated with payroll processing at the state and federal level
- Follows all attendance and punctuality standards with adherences to timekeeping standards
- Follows the Company Code of Business Ethics and Conduct
- Upholds the company's non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements
- Understands and follow all work rules and procedures and follows lawful directions from Supervisors
- Maintains a professional appearance in accordance with company policy
- Attends pertinent training on request.
- Attends company meetings as required.

- Proficient in high volume data entry
- Excellent computer proficiency including MS Office suite and payroll processing software programs
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy of work performed
- Good communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate via face-to-face, phone, or by other means of communication
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to process data and organize it for management analysis
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
