Job Description:
KenCrest - A Premier EmployerThe Payroll Analyst is primarily responsible for assisting and supporting the Sr. Payroll Manager with the processing of all biweekly payroll cycles, including maintenance of hours and employee information for inclusion in the payroll off-cycles. This position is also responsible for communicating to employees regarding missing Dayforce information, such as direct deposits, etc. As such, this position interacts heavily with the HR Onboarding team, as well as new and current employees. This position will be in-office at our 960 Harvest Drive location in Blue Bell, PA. Some Essential Functions of Position:
  • Point person to review any HR related changes for employees, such terminations, new hires, rate changes, etc. and effective dates in order to calculate retro pay, where applicable.
  • Point person to review all employee self-service paperwork in Dayforce to flag any missing employee information and check for accuracy and completeness, i.e. direct deposits, beneficiary information, etc.
  • Collaborate with Sr. Payroll Manager for changing Kronos hours upon notification from Managers of inaccurate employee PTO and hours in Kronos.
  • Assisting in payroll processing for all states, in collaboration with Payroll Team.
  • Interface with other Payroll Team members and Human Resources regarding subject matter issues requiring attention.
  • Set up garnishments when information is obtained from taxing authorities.
  • Set up child support garnishments once state agency communications are received.
  • Involvement in special projects, i.e. pulling information for annual financial and 403b audits; time management (uploading or data entry of hours) of employees' hours to Provider Pro for billing purposes.
  • Run reports from Dayforce/Kronos for documentation support.
  • Other duties as assigned by Sr. Payroll Manager or Director of Payroll.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in business and at least five years of Payroll experience OR seven years of Payroll experience with increased responsibilities required.
  • Experience with payroll and financial applications and reporting tools preferred, specifically Ceridian Dayforce, Provider Pro, and People Soft required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook) required.
  • Excellent attention to detail. Conscientious and detail-oriented.
  • Strong communications (written and verbal) and organization skills.
