JOB DESCRIPTION: PAYROLL ANALYST Job Summary: Responsible for the processing and the day-to-day activities of the organization's multi-state payroll function ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness for the End-to-End payroll process. Job Duties: •Process Multi-State full cycle weekly payrolls including data entry, validation, employee payments and report outputs •Prepare and submit all required payroll outputs including payroll tax filing and accounting reports •Prepare certified payrolls in compliance with government regulations and project specifications •Stay up-to-date with payroll laws and regulations •Analyze and resolve payroll issues, discrepancies, and inquiries •Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, accounting, and project management Experience and Education: •Has minimum 5 years of experience in processing multi-state payrolls for mid to large size companies •Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred •Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus •Knowledge of the Construction and/or General Contracting industry is a plus Competencies: •Experience in payroll including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes •Knowledge of US multi-state, multi-jurisdiction environment, taxes and labor laws •Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail •Proficient in Excel •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills •Ability to work as part of a Team •Customer service mentality Pay Range: $74,000 - $75,000 per year
