Job Description:

The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for administering assigned components of payroll processing to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of all payments. Additional responsibilities include reconciliating payroll-related cash and general ledger accounts, investigating and resolving employee payroll issues, and managing vendor relationship and delivery.

This person will be hybrid going into the Camp Hill, PA office to work.

* Identifies and presents solutions for continuous payroll process improvement and implements approved solutions.

* Monitors payroll-related compliance across the enterprise. Monitors service level metrics.

* Reconciles payroll-related accounts (cash or general ledger). Analyzes payroll variances and payroll general ledger accounts. Audits payroll data and corrects data as necessary.

* Ensures accurate and timely reporting.

* Identifies necessary changes as identified by internal/ external auditors and implements them.

* Ensures vendor produces timely and accurate gross to net processing and pay distribution. Ensures vendor processes interface files and/or performs necessary manual data entry if necessary.

* Ensures vendors timely and accurate filing of tax reporting and year end processing.

* Resolves employee level payroll problems. Provides level 2 inquiry support and provides applicable guidance for resolving any discrepancies.

* Participates in pre-implementation IT testing & post-implementation validation.

* Interfaces directly with and ensures accurate compliance with internal and external auditors and external partners.

Minimum Qualifications

2+ w/Bachelor's degree

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Organization and time management skills. Detail oriented, flexible and creative with strong problem solving and analytical skills. Knowledge of state and federal payroll laws. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, responds quickly, deliver results under pressure and maintain confidentiality. Commitment to excellence. Teamwork and collaboration. Base Pay Information

The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.

Pay Grade 18. $56,900 - $119,200
