PositionPurpose

We are looking for an experienced Payroll and Administrative Specialist to process payroll and administrate all payroll functions as well as assist with HR Administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3 or more years of experience processing payroll for both Hourly and Salaried in multiple states
  • 3 or more years of experience filling and paying all applicable payroll taxes
  • Strong reconciliation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly proficient at Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with HR Administration Preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate processing and maintaining records of all payroll for both the United States and Canada
  • Filling and processing all applicable payroll taxes
  • Setting up and maintaining all required employer and payroll related paperwork with each state and province
  • Administrate all pre-onboarding and post onboarding functions including but not limited to, pre-onboarding paperwork, emails, HRIS set up, IT set up, business cards, equipment (Iaptops and phones), Farmina Academy, Concur, and announcements
  • Administer and maintenance of North America Directory
  • Assist Human Resources with administrative tasks
  • Proficiency in MS Office especially MS Office Excel
  • Customer Service oriented and the ability to manage time and deadlines
  • Maintaining a strict and high standard of confidentiality
