Summary
Provides administrative support to the Payroll Department. Responsibilities include addressing payroll-related inquiries from PH co-workers and management promptly, transaction processing, maintaining appropriate records, handling and processing of various taxes and tax forms. Is responsible for communicating effectively with internal and external customers in person, on the phone, and through email. Identifies and corrects payroll-related errors proactively. Provides miscellaneous reports and worksheets for PH Management. Collaboratively works with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and engagement at all levels. Has a passion for numbers, excellent data entry skills, and always has a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Qualifications
+ High school graduate or the equivalent of a GED.
+ Minimum of 2 years in administrative/receptionist positions.
+ Payroll environment is a strongly preferred.
+ Must be a highly motivated, productive, self-starter, detail and results oriented. Thrive and excel in a fast-pace environment. Strong typing and data entry skills; highly accurate and analytical.
+ Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
+ Must be able to work independently and be willing to be led by others.
+ Ability to prioritize and consistently meet deadlines with competing demands.
+ Demonstrates proficiency with software programs, including Excel, Word, and payroll applications.
