- Must be 21 years or older
- College degree or equivalent payroll/benefits experience
- Bi-lingual preferred
- At least five years of experience in a company payroll/benefits function
Responsibilities:
- Daily monitoring of post mail, emails, and telephone calls from internal colleagues and external parties to ensure timely responses
- Timely response of employment verification requests
- Complete garnishment answer notices
- Generate regular reports and distribute to appropriate UDI and UJB colleagues (new hire, termination, headcount, employee change, leaves of absence, missing punch, vacation review and calculation, as well as additionally requested reports for sales managers and delivery)
- Generate sales commission file from sales system and import into payroll system (UJB, Albany & Savannah)
- Enter transactions (driver commissions, merchandiser pay, bonuses, etc.)
- Enter sales deductions - over/short deductions, loan deductions and driver commissions
- Assist with payroll processing
- Enter garnishments and child support deductions in the payroll system and Company's internal database
- Complete Qualified Medical Child Support Orders (QCSO) or National Medical Support Orders (NMSN)
- Complete unemployment claim requests (ie provide wage information and documentation)
- Send Benefit announcements/communication and post to the intranet
- Perform regular deduction reviews
- Attend new hire onboarding to provide benefit education including 401(k)
- Assist with 401(k) audit by gathering documents and providing requested reports
- Other duties, as assigned
