Responsibilities Payroll Clerk - Bookkeeping:
  • Maintaining payroll information by collating, calculating and entering data
  • Updating payroll records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits such as job title changes, exemptions and saving deductions
  • ADP Work Force (Semi Monthly Payroll)
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Assist with phones
  • Assist with cashiering
  • Assist with daily deposit
  • Preparing reports that include summaries of earnings, tax deductions, leave, compassionate leave and non-taxable wages
  • Calculating payroll liabilities by determining employee taxes, including federal and state income and social security tax, and calculating employer's payments for social security, unemployment and worker's compensation
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll queries
  • Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures
  • Processing and issuing W-2 forms to employees
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Payroll Clerk - Bookkeeping:
  • No dealership experience is required - we will train
  • Must understand basic concepts of payroll
  • Must have intermediate skill using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Must be dependable, on time, and team orientated
  • Must have the ability to handle a high volume of work and be able to multi task
  • ADP experience a plus
  • Data entry skills with attention to detail
  • Professional appearance
  • Team player with positive attitude
  • Driven and self-motivated personality.
  • Good customer service skills
