High School Diploma 2. Understanding of payroll and Federal and State procedures 3. Computer Literate 4. Accuracy and superior typing skills 5. Two (2) years payroll experienceResponsbilities and Duties: 1. Keep current with payroll data entry. 2. Maintain employee payroll records. 3. Knowledgeable in state requirements and recognize errors in coding when entering data. 4. Provide information to auditors. 5. Occasional attendance at workshops to keep current with state and federal reporting requirements. 6. Continue to become informed of new Labor Laws, IRS Regulations, PERA updates, CDE Human Resources Reporting Codes and technology. 7. Cooperate with staff in meeting financial goals of the district. 8. Obtain required paperwork for new employees. 9. Computer input of information into database. 10. Complete federal and state required forma and maintain copies in district files, sending originals to correct agencies. 11. Calculate time sheets and time cards, and maintain time keeping system. 12. Process payroll checks and direct deposits. 13. Reconcile payroll accounts. 14. Submit payroll taxes and deduction payables. Prepare required payroll tax forms, ACH files and payments, quarterly unemployment reporting and PERA reporting. 15. Prepare and distribute W-2 forms. 16. Affordable Care Act reporting and information compiling. Includes 1095C and 1094C forms 17. HR reporting via Data-pipeline. 18. Knowledge of Labor laws. 19. Maintain Insurance and must have knowledge of Section 125 benefits and regulations for employees. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 1. Twelve months. 2. Salary and benefits as per Board policyAttachment(s):
