Job Description:

The Payroll Clerk is responsible for processing employee payroll accurately and in compliance with company policies and regulations. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining employee records and ensuring timely and accurate payment of wages. Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and prepare payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy in commissions calculations.
  • Maintain employee records, including hours worked, deductions, and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits.
  • Prepare and file payroll-related tax forms and reports.
  • Assist with year-end processes, including W-2 preparation.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to streamline payroll processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
  • Assist with AP data entry and general office data entry
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or bachelor's degree in accounting or business preferred.
  • Previous experience in payroll processing or a related role. Experience working with commissions ideal.
  • Familiarity with ADP payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Coachable - accounting skills/knowledge; experience in our software system Service Titan.
  • Successful completion of criminal background check.
