The Payroll Clerk is responsible for processing employee payroll accurately and in compliance with company policies and regulations. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining employee records and ensuring timely and accurate payment of wages. Key Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy in commissions calculations.
- Maintain employee records, including hours worked, deductions, and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits.
- Prepare and file payroll-related tax forms and reports.
- Assist with year-end processes, including W-2 preparation.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to streamline payroll processes.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Assist with AP data entry and general office data entry
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or bachelor's degree in accounting or business preferred.
- Previous experience in payroll processing or a related role. Experience working with commissions ideal.
- Familiarity with ADP payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Coachable - accounting skills/knowledge; experience in our software system Service Titan.
- Successful completion of criminal background check.
