Additional titles which qualify can be found on the Department of Civil Service website, Career Mobility Office GOT-IT (ny.gov) Duties Description The incumbent of this position will assist with processing both main and hourly payrolls at DEC in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with the State Comptroller (PayServ), Civil Service (NYSTEP), Office of Employee Relations and Division of the Budget requirements.Calculate and verify salary calculations, reconstruct employee salary histories, process salary increases, longevity payments, performance advances, back salaries, settlements, penalties, grievances, disciplinary and/or arbitration decisions.Handle employment verification, unemployment insurance documentation, informational subpoenas, and other requests for information as necessary.Monitor Payroll mailbox and respond to employee questions and concerns.
