What We Need:

We are looking for a Financial Analyst - Payroll to join our team in Muscatine, Iowa. As a Financial Analyst with the Corporate Financial Services team, you will make a large impact by providing financial/accounting support to assess the impact of corporate budgets and projects. Additionally, one of the primary focuses of this position will include all aspects of payroll processing (including establishing and maintaining metrics to improve operational performance).

What You Will Do:

* Perform activities related to payroll

* Process payroll weekly/biweekly for our operating companies

* Ensure legal compliance of garnishment orders

* Reconcile payroll accounts weekly/monthly

* Engage with members across the brands to drive process improvements and recommends action or change

* Support audit compliance

* Assist in the design and preparation of budgets for review by management

* Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records

* Perform monthly variance analysis in financial position/budget

* Maintain and reconciles schedules in support of financial statements (e.g. fixed assets)

* Perform other duties in support of business operations, as assigned

What You Have:

* Associate's degree with a major in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with an Accounting/Finance emphasis. Bachelor's degree preferred.

* 1-2 years of relevant work experience / internships / related activities (tutor, business fraternity, etc) preferred.

What You Are Good At:

* Skilled in Microsoft Office and Excel applications

* Financial software experience in ADP Payroll, Kronos Timekeeping, and Oracle helpful but not required

* Strong verbal and written communication
