Atlas Healthcare is seeking a skilled Payroll / HR Associate to administer facility payroll through our software platform(s) requiring proficiency in navigating multiple systems to include payroll, HR, Time and Attendance, MS Excel, and other company affiliated record systems. The position of Payroll / HR Associate resides in the Business Office at 385 W Center Street, Manchester, CT currently serving six (6) companies.
Under the direction of our Payroll Director and in accordance with established policies and procedures, state and federal mandates, administer payroll oversight and related tasks for our Connecticut area facilities.

Position Requirements-Education/ Experience
- Associate degree in business administration and/or financial related field.
- Minimum three (3) years of payroll related and/or accounting experience.
- Payroll software knowledge experience.
- MS Excel Proficiency.
- Ability to compile and analyze data accurately and timely.

Essential Functions
Support the CT Area facility payroll processing. Including but not limited to payroll preparation support to facility HR/Payroll staff, verification of accepted payroll(s) i.e., reasonability, validation of payroll accuracy via payroll reports, maintenance of time off and accrual balances and communication regarding payroll software requirements/changes ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.Prepare, process, and verify accuracy (issue) manual paychecks as requested and support 3rd Party transactions.Protect the Companys payroll and time & attendance data through backup and restoration routines as appropriate. Perform troubleshooting, resolution and communication of payroll related compliance, process, and technical issues.Process wage garnishments, support orders and tax levies in compliance with federal and state regulations.Support reconciliation W2 distribution and related activity. Respond to payroll related financial questions, such as coding, research and reporting of Payroll as requested.As required, participate, and support financial audits, including 401(k) and workers compensation audit(s), PBJ support.Support human resources pertaining to benefits, programs, policies, 401(k) and employee related issues.Company Benefits
