We strive for every interaction to be driven by Expertise, Integrity, Service Excellence, Innovation, Results-Driven, and Responsibility.RequirementsJob Summary:As a Payroll/HR Customer Engagement and Support Specialist at Benetech, you'll be the frontline for providing comprehensive Tier 1 support to our clients and their employees. This role is pivotal in maintaining the satisfaction and trust of our clients by offering exceptional service across payroll, HR, benefits, and billing inquiries.Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver first-level support through phone, email, and chat for various stakeholders.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service, ensuring a professional and empathetic approach at all times.
  • Execute data entry tasks, handle routine clerical functions, and address account-related queries.
  • Foster robust client relationships, offering tailored HR support across multiple industries and states.
  • Engage in special client projects and support the processing of client payroll.
  • Contribute to the creation and upkeep of training documentation.
  • Perform virtual HR duties, including employee onboarding, documentation management, and benefits enrollment.
  • Oversee new hire processes, including background checks and compliance notices.
  • Maintain and update employee handbooks and support employee review processes.
  • Collaborate with brokers regarding new benefits and assist with employee communications.
  • Offer best practice advice for hiring and termination procedures.
  • Manage employee leave requests appropriately and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Handle HR compliance inquiries and troubleshoot customer issues.
  • Serve as a primary contact for Benetech Learning support inquiries.
  • Provide backup for eligibility audits and verification tasks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand and meet customer needs.
  • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Navigate Benetech's systems proficiently to address customer concerns.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.Preferred:
Applicants with the following qualifications will be preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred or relevant educational background
  • 1-2 years of experience in human resources and payroll, with exposure to benefit plans or insurance.
  • HR, Payroll certification.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and accounting software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and aptitude for learning new technology.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on process and efficiency.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and follow up on assignments.
  • Commitment to maintain confidentiality and a strong understanding of data security.
  • Excellent teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently.
