Our Corporate division are now seeking a talented Payroll & HR Shared Services Administrator in US to join the Payroll & People Hub team. Some of the essentials for you to know are:

Location: Based out of Mahwah, NJ with routine visits to Clifton, NJ and NYC

Reporting into: Total Reward & HR Shared Services Manager

Here is a breakdown of what you'll be doing:

* Responsible for accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly payroll, whilst ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

* Knowledge of payroll policies and procedures relative to specific payroll calculations.

* Coordinate year-end processes, including W-2 preparation and audits.

* Maintain payroll records, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

* Handle employee payroll inquiries promptly and courteously.

* Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors as needed.

* Prepare and distribute payroll reports, as needed.

* Ability to reconcile, audit and problem solve.

* Provide first line support for HR on low-risk employee relations queries, including note taking and conducting face to face meetings with employees.

* Conducting Right to Work checks for new and existing employees and supporting the onboarding of new employees.

* Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the shared services framework.

* Prepare all employment-related letters for staff including role changes, salary increases, family-friendly changes, new starters, and leavers

* Processing Leavers and conducting exit interviews

* Guardian of all HR policies and processes providing 1st line response to policy queries utilizing our ticketing system Workday Help

* Track and monitor; fixed term contractors, maternity, paternity shared parental leave, probation, visas/right to work and allowances

* Support the Benefits team as need

* Complete ad hoc duties and projects as required

The type of person we are looking for:

* 5+ years of experience in payroll administration, with strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance. *Multi-state payroll a plus.

* Experience with ADP GlobalView and Workforce Manager or similar, is preferred.

* Experience in a shared services environment is a plus.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Detail orientated and organized, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software, and be able to create VLOOKUPs, and Pivot reports.
