Job Description:
Under the direction and supervision of the Controller and in accordance with the mission and purpose of the YMCA, the Payroll/HR Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of payroll including the time and attendance system, management of the software, and current payroll tax changes. In addition, he/she will manage the ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and support the Directors with related HR issues. He/she will perform additional tasks as necessary to support HR and will follow the YMCA's mission and standards. He/she will complete all other duties and projects as assigned or required.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance3+ years of professional experience in payroll/HR/ATS/RecruitingNonprofit experience strongly preferredProficient in payroll software (Paycom strongly preferred) and Microsoft OfficeAbility to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and diligenceAbility to exercise discretion, maintain confidentiality and apply independent judgmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills, especially as it pertains to financial functions#J-18808-Ljbffr
