Responsibilities:

What Youll Do:
- Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions
- Supervise payroll specialist(s)
- Run/Process commissions and bonuses for sales department, managers, and marketing department
- Reviewing GP% for sales commissions and create summaries to send to VP of Sales and President
- Implement and maintain payroll best practices to improve efficiency and consult with human resources team to improve payroll
- Process transfers and promotion forms
- Process and administer employee W-2s
- Maintain employee records in payroll/HRIS systems
- Maintain confidentiality with all payroll and HR related material
- Produce payroll reports for executive staff, department reporting, and audits as requested
- Maintains the confidentiality of the HR and payroll departments regarding anything pay related
- Administer HR and payroll files and collect confidential information as required
Qualifications:
What Youll Bring:
- Bachelors degree or higher
- 5+ years of payroll and accounting experience
- Supervisory experience is a plus
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
- Strong understanding of Human Resources processes and terminology, payroll and benefit processes and procedures, including eligibility and enrollment rules and benefit procedures
- Demonstrates exceptional analytical skills and ability to create useful and actionable reports from data
- Possess strong written and verbal communications skills
- Possess strong organizational skills and ability to complete multiple tasks and high volume of work on deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to edit and proofread
- Possess a creative outlook with a problem-solving attitude
- Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-through skills
- Has shown ability to respond quickly and accurately to requests for data, ability to provide excellent customer service a must
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resource
