Job Description:

BW KENNEDY is seeking a skilled Payroll Manager to oversee our payroll processes and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. The Payroll Manager will play a critical role in managing payroll operations efficiently and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of employee wages, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Oversee payroll staff, providing training, support, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Implement and maintain payroll policies and procedures, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Prepare and analyze payroll reports, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with HR for accurate record-keeping of employee information, including leave, overtime, and benefits.
  • Stay up-to-date with payroll technology advancements and tools to streamline operations.
  • Address employee inquiries and resolve any payroll-related issues effectively.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of payroll management experience, preferably within the construction or renovation industries.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and systems, with strong analytical skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with various departments.
  • Problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to payroll challenges.
