BW KENNEDY is seeking a skilled Payroll Manager to oversee our payroll processes and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. The Payroll Manager will play a critical role in managing payroll operations efficiently and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of employee wages, bonuses, and deductions.
- Oversee payroll staff, providing training, support, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Implement and maintain payroll policies and procedures, making recommendations for improvements.
- Prepare and analyze payroll reports, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Coordinate with HR for accurate record-keeping of employee information, including leave, overtime, and benefits.
- Stay up-to-date with payroll technology advancements and tools to streamline operations.
- Address employee inquiries and resolve any payroll-related issues effectively.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 5+ years of payroll management experience, preferably within the construction or renovation industries.
- Comprehensive knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in payroll software and systems, with strong analytical skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with various departments.
