An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000 USD per hour.

The Payroll Manager must be dedicated and industrious, committed to accuracy in all transactions. The successful candidate will co-ordinate, direct and manage all payroll preparation, processing and distribution duties and will provide assistance to both internal and external customers when necessary.
Key Responsibilities include:
* US and Canadian - manage and guarantee weekly and bi-weekly disbursement of multi-state or province payroll, including garnishments, benefits and taxes to 1000 employees consistent with federal and state wage and hour laws
* Lead payroll projects for acquisitions, system implementations, continuous improvement, and internal/external requirement changes
* Ensure the processing of new hires, transfers, promotions and terminations is accurate, compliant, and timely for US & Canadian associates
* Supervise payroll staff
* Critically review and analyze current payroll, benefits and tax procedures in order to recommend and implement changes leading to best practice operations
* Audit W2s, payroll balance sheets, YTD earnings, etc.
* Communicate actively with Finance, Human Resources, etc. to review cross-departmental impacts and reconcile data sharing.
* Ensure systems are set-up and updated to reflect our current employee base, including wages, benefits, PTO in line with contracts.
* Manage regular preparation of relevant management reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports (i.e. gross payroll, hours worked, PTO accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.)
* Oversee compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements
* Maintains payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures
* Maintains payroll staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a payroll manager or similar role
* Current knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws
* Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes
* Familiarity with payroll software/ HRIS (e.g. SAP, ADP, Kronos) and MS Office (especially Excel)
* A keen eye for detail
* An analytical mind and good math skills
* Outstanding communication skills (written and oral)
* Organizational and leadership skills
* BSc/BA in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources or related field
