The Payroll Manager will be responsible for leading and developing a group of payroll specialists, while fostering operational excellence and team collaboration. As we broaden our presence in the Americas, proficiency in English and Portuguese and/or Spanish will be advantageous. We're seeking candidates with regional payroll leadership experience who are solution-oriented and passionate about driving improvements. This crucial and visible position will collaborate closely with key partners in Human Resources, Finance, and Compensation and Benefits to ensure payroll compliance, accuracy, and timely processing, while continuously enhancing processes to meet evolving business needs.This hybrid position is located in Geneva, IL 2-3 days per week.Compensation:The current salary range for this role is estimated to be $140,000 - $150,000. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. The specific compensation offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, and location.What We Offer:

What You'll Do:
  • Lead the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery for employees across the Americas, enhancing operational effectiveness and employee experience.
  • Maintain expertise in payroll processes and industry best practices to drive improvements and meet organizational goals.
  • Oversee the entire payroll process, ensuring seamless execution and compliance across multiple states and legal entities.
  • Drive process enhancements to support growth in employee base and technology integration.
  • Supervise payroll operations, including company liabilities, payroll changes, and establishing essential controls.
  • Achieve 100% compliance and accuracy in payroll reporting, including tax and benefit deductions.
  • Collaborate with HR and Compensation & Benefits teams to exhibit operational excellence.
  • Guide the team through growth and changes, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring effective scope, schedule, and resource management.
  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processes for North America and LATAM, including daily operations and team supervision.
  • Prepare various payroll reports and provide tier 2 payroll support to employees.
  • Monitor timekeeping systems for discrepancies and maintain payroll system updates.
  • Ensure timely tax reporting, reconciliations, and issuance of payroll-related forms, including W2s.
  • Stay informed on payroll-related legislation and provide leadership to the payroll team, including training and performance management.
  • Serve as the main contact for audits, ensuring compliance with laws and internal controls.
  • Partner with HR on document management and support payroll system upgrades and technology evaluations.
  • Ensure data privacy compliance and contribute to HR projects supporting digitalization and regional initiatives.
What You'll Need:Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Business Information Systems required
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) required
Experience:
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of Payroll experience, and 3 years' experience in a payroll leadership role
  • Demonstrated experience with Payroll systems, preferably ADP
  • Tax experience heavily preferred
Supervisory Responsibility (if applicable)
  • This role will manage a team of 2-3 direct reports
Business Travel:
  • This role will require up to 10% domestic travel
  • Occasional international travel may be expected
